Edwin Santora is the kind of man every woman wants to be “friends” with.
He was Abigail’s first love, the love of her life, but when the devastatingly handsome Edwin admitted he just wasn’t ready to settle down and have kids, Abigail was left back at ground zero surrounded by the remnants of her shattered heart. Convinced that he can win Abigail back, Edwin bides his time and waits for his chance to reclaim her body and her heart.
Cameron Clarke is what dreams are made of.
He was the man of Abigail’s dreams and she was smitten. She hadn’t actually expected that he would fall for her, but he did; which only makes the clean-up that much messier after he drops a bomb that shocks everyone. Lost without her, and with his motherless little girl’s broken heart on the line, Cameron’s determined to stop Edwin from stealing his future; but is it too late for him?
Torn between these two men who stand to give her everything she ever wanted, who will Abigail choose?

It wasn't a great read, it was only okay for me. Honestly I gave 3 stars because of the writing only. I didn't read the first two books, but aside from a few references here and there I was able to follow the story. I think I was even greatful not having read the first two books. There were a lot of things I didn't like but I know it is based on my personal preferences. I thought Abigail was a doormat. She let both guys make her miserable with bitchy comments and infantile behaviour. For me Cameron wasn't like someone dreams are made of. He was self-centered and disrespectful to Abigail. He never once apologized for the rude words he uttered in the heat of their arguments but behaved like nothing happened and made Abigail feel guilty. That left only Edwin but he too was behaving poorly. Both guys manipulated her emotionally and her indecision grated on my nerves. I couldn't understand this whole Jenny thing, it was only weird. Speaking of weird. This whole office where all the main and side characters worked was too a lot of weird - like a zoo. Owen's proposal was even outrageous. Please don't forget: this is my personal opinion on the flaws and characteristics of fictional characters.

A Twist of Fate The Twisted Series Book 3 edition by Christa Simpson Black WIdow Publishing Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
Loved the twist and turns in A Twist of Fate. I fell more in love with Edwin throughout the entire story. Abby's life kept me on the edge of my seat not knowing whether she would choose to live her dream life or choose the love of her life and best friend. Christa did a fabulous job keeping the story intriguing all the way to the very end. This is a great trilogy and I highly recommend you read it.
This whole series is full of excitement, love triangles, great humor and, most of all, romance. It keeps you guessing what's going to happen next since the beginning of the story... It had the best ending ever!
A total page turner.
A very enjoyable read with a great storyline and well defined characters that just pulled me right into their story and kept me captivated from the very beginning until the very end!
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading book 3, the writing definitely kept me interested in what would happen next and what choices the MC would make. For one brief moment I was like, "Giirrrl, you better get your stuff together & make up your mind... Seriously, don't you do it" but my faith was quickly restored and I definitely wasn't disappointed. Then, right when you think, "Ok, it's almost the end so it's all in the bag." The opportunity for total chaos appears and catches you of guard. An awesome finale for an awesome series!
This literary roller coaster ride took my heart on an extraordinary journey. I loved how the author fleshed out the characters so that they weren't two-dimensional and flat. Since the main character, Abigail, was torn between the two men in her life, I was especially happy to see that these men (Edwin and Cameron) were not presented to the reader as good guy/bad guy. In other words, often a plot line like this has one good answer, and it's easy for everyone outside of the main character to see who the best choice is for her. Most often life is more complicated than that, and these characters represented that well. Good read!
The Twisted Series by Christa Simpson-(originally a trilogy) the first three books involve three main characters Abigail, Edwin and Cameron. The writing is extraordinary, the editing not so much. This is my first experience reading Christa Simpson. It is also my first experience with a romance based in Canada, which I found a nice change of pace. The story centers around work and relationships formed at their big law firm, where Edwin and Cameron are lawyers and Abby is a legal assistant. This story is passionate, heartbreaking, sensual and sexy. I am adding Christa to my favorites list and can't wait to read her again.
Abigail is happy with Cameron, but still has feelings for Edwin. When Cameron ppops the question, she asks one of her own and is left heartbroken. Cameron isnt giving up, and Edwin never did. Its down to Abigail to decided what, and WHO her heart really wants.
Disappointed, is the first thing that comes to mind. I liked book one, but not Abigail, I really liked book two and Abigail was much more likeable in that one, but this one?? it was okay.
There is a happy ending, and the story moves well, with Abigail finally getting her happy ending, but I'm not saying who with. It has hot steamy sex, well written scenes and the emotions faced by Abbie when her question is answered are real and come off the page. So its not the STORY that didnt do it for me. this is what did.
Its written, for the most part, in first person from Abbie's point of view. We get a snippet from Edwin (in third person) and I thought, YAY I soooooo wanna hear from him. THEN nothing else. zip. zerp.zilch. right near the end it then flips to third person, for Abbie, Cameron, Edwin and....Jenny (coming back to her!) THEN the epilogue is back to first person Abbie! WHY? Write the book first person or third, with all the major characters having their say or not. I usually prefer to hear from them all, BUT wont necessarily mark a book down if I dont. It was the flipping from one to the other.
And finally....Jenny. I really did not see the point of her, at all. In book two's review, I said I thought she might not be up to the no good that some other reviewers thought she was, here, its proved, either way, I'm not saying which. But I did not like how that was all resolved! It literally just went poof! up in a wisp of smoke.
All in all, a okay read, you do need to read all three books in order to get the full picture. There is a follow on from this set, for Allie, Abbie's best friend. She got a bum deal here, and I have added that book to my wish list, and will read it, eventually.
